Taylor and I moved last week! We were so excited to be able to move out of "the dungeon." Our old apartment was a teeny tiny basement apartment, with a kitchen about as big as a hallway. It was also really, really old, so everything always looked dirty, and had a trillion holes in the wall, etc. Our new place is actually a condo, and it has, get this, a DISHWASHER! It has been so fun. I think I did the dishes like 3 times in one day because I was so excited. I will post pictures once we get all settled in. Lexi is LOVING it. There is a huge grassy area in the back so she can run around and play. We are so excited. It feels like this is our first REAL place. The only thing that I can wish for is that we were a little closer to our family and friends, that's going to be hard to get used to!

So...Taylor and my first anniversary was on Sunday! I can't believe it's already been a year, but then again, I feel like we've been married forever. We decided to celebrate on Saturday, since there is not a lot to do on Sunday, especially because it was Easter weekend. We starting by going out to lunch together and did a little shopping for some things that we really needed. Then we came home and got ready, and went to dinner at the Bombay House which was sooo yummy! We hadn't been there since before we were married.
We went on a drive up the canyon, which was fun, we used to do that all the time when we were dating. We finished the day off by getting some dessert. It was such a fun day! I wish we would have taken pictures! But my camera battery was dead, and it didn't have time to charge it, so I decided it would be nice to post a couple time pictures.

Taylor and I were lucky enough to be able to go to a Jazz game on Thursday night. It was sooo much fun. I'm not really into sports, but one thing that Taylor has taught me is to love the Jazz. We watch all of the games, and we used to go to games all the time before we got married, but this is the first game we were able to go to since then.

Our seats were pretty bad! But it was a way good game. They played the Celtics, and were behind until the last minutes of the game...but they WON!! It was awesome. Being at the games is so much fun!

Taylor and I drove to Arizona over the Superbowl weekend, because we sold Taylor's car to his mom. We stayed over in St George on Friday night on the way down, which was so fun! It's so nice to stay somewhere when you don't have to clean it up!! And it was nice to be able to make the rest of the drive during the day. We drove over the Hoover Dam, which was way cool. I was so mad because my camera battery was dead, so I didn't even get any pictures. It was a short vacation, but it was great to see Taylor's family, since we don't get to spend a lot of time with them. But I think my favorite part of the trip was the flight home! I haven't been on a plane since I was really little, so it was really neat! We flew over the Grand Canyon, which was neat. And then over the Great Sal t Lake, which was really pretty, because it was all frozen. I loved it!
I meant to take a lot more pictures, but I got lazy. There are none of me, because I didn't get ready one day the whole weekend. It was so nice!
Taylor and Tyler Watching the Superbowl
Our nephew Wyatt. He was being so cute, I was knitting a pair of mittens, and he was obsessed with wearing the one that was finished. So I took some pictures to distract him, so I could get back to working on them.

So, I we decided to start a blog! Hopefully this will give me the motivation to take more pictures! And help us catalog our memories as newlyweds! So here's a little about us:
Taylor and I met in a "blind date" kind of way. We hit it off immediately. He lived in Salt Lake, and I was living in Spanish Fork at the time so it was kin
d of hard for us to see a lot of each other, but we made it work! We got engaged in October of 2007, and married 6 months later in April. Since then we have been living in a itty bitty apartment in Orem. It's so nice to be together in our own little place, but we can't wait to MOVE!!! We have a chihuahua, Lexi, who is our little baby. I had her before Taylor and I met, but he loves her, and he's a great puppy Daddy. Here is a picture of our princess!
